Go back to your map and select the map menu pulldown, indicated by three dots. Share button > Who has access > Change > Public on the web > Save. The images can also e shared through Google+ and can be viewed in Google Earth, Google+ as well as Google Search.

If you want to upload a photo sphere than it can also be done with the usual smartphone camera by panning it across the landscape, that being said you will still be needing a phone with Gyroscopic sensors.
